I was so shocked and sad all at once. My grandfather recently passed and Lilly was a love gift for my 9 year old daughter who was very close to her great grandfather. Having to tell her the dog was going to die too, broke me to pieces, plus I did not have that kind of cash on the spot. I returned to work and called several Vets/clinics and they all quoted around the same price and had the same advice. Still in shock the co-worker who gave me Lilly broke down and told she never had any shots and to put her to sleep. I refused to believe this was my only option. I then went to GOOGLE.
Thank you so much:

I found Lucky as a stray over 4 years ago and brought him back to health after months living on the streets. Over a year ago Lucky began to show signs of pain in his rear legs, eventually after only a few months he was unable to stand or walk. I took him to many vets, had x-rays carried out. Some vets recommended extensive surgery – which was quoted in the $1000’s range…unfortunately way out of my budget. I was really worried about my boy. I wanted him to feel better but I was unable to afford the cost to carry out this surgery. The other solution was pain killers.
I contacted a Pawz for Health specialist in desperation. She immediately offered empathy, as she had experienced the same with one of her dogs. Although she said surgery could solve the issue and certainly something to consider down the road - but until such time you can afford it why not try a more “natural” approach to this problem, and see how things go. She gave me the insight into how the pain killers could help alleviate the pain but if this problem was ongoing he would need to use the pain killers indefinitely until I could afford the surgery.. She explained the long term effects of continuous use of some pain killers. I weighed up all my options and decided to at least try the Pawz for Health suggestion. She recommended I use a product called Synflex, which uses natural ingredients to help repair cartilage damage, as well as being a natural pain killer.
I purchased this product online. Within 3 days I saw a change in Lucky, he was showing signs of improvement, he was able to walk without whining, he gradually began to run, and now having used this product for over a year – Lucky is running, playing, and climbing the stairs again.
I may still at some point have to get the surgery but for now he is happy, agile and much more comfortable.
Thanks Pawz for Health, your help and understanding of my dogs problem has really given me encouragement to look at a more natural approach first to treating my dogs problems.
