About our dog training programs:
Our dog training programs cater to dogs of all breeds and ages. We understand that as dogs transition into their adult developmental stage, their behavior can change. In such cases, we are here to assist your dog in overcoming any undesirable behaviors through positive reinforcement behavior modification techniques.
Every dog is unique, and we acknowledge that not all dogs behave or develop in the same way. Therefore, we avoid using a “cookie cutter style” of training and instead customize our programs to match each dog’s individual training goals.
Our customized training programs are designed to align with the personality, ability, and learning style of both you and your dog. We value the input of each family member and conduct individual consultations to gather information on the specific behaviors you would like to address.
We believe that for dog training to be successful, it is important for all family members to feel confident and equipped with the right training tools. Our goal is to ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and resources to achieve success in our dog training programs in Maryland.
What dog training techniques do we use?
We are dedicated to employing 100% positive reinforcement dog training methods, ensuring that pain is never used in training your dog.
Our stance is clear: we do not endorse the use of shock collars, choke collars, or prong collars under any circumstances. Instead, we utilize flat collars, front clipping harnesses, or head collars, depending on the specific needs of each dog and the comfort level of the owner.
In our training programs, we will equip you with the knowledge to identify what motivates your dog. This understanding will allow you to utilize those motivators as effective training tools and primary reinforcers.
One aspect that sets us apart from other dog training programs is our emphasis on teaching you how to interpret your dog’s body language and communicate effectively. This invaluable skill enhances the training experience and strengthens the bond between you and your dog.
